Eligibility
Lone Star realizes no two customers are alike, and we consider an applicant's entire application. We usually require the following:
- The property (residential, commercial, investment, or land) must be located in Texas
- The total taxes, interest, penalties, and other fees you owe must be at least $2,500
- The borrower cannot be in bankruptcy
- The property must be in reasonable condition
- The borrower(s) can afford Alamo's low monthly payments

Lone Star Tax is unique in that homeowners can control the terms of their plan - which have no pre-payment penalty. The process can be completed very quickly with no out-of-pocket expenses and no credit checks.
Our application is quick and easy and only requires little more than the following information:
- Name of Property Owner(s)
- Property Mailing Address
- Contact Information (phone number, email, etc.)
- Mortgage Company information (if any)
Commercial
Lone Star Tax is perfect for businesses and owners of commercial properties who prefer to expand their business, buy new equipment, make property and equipment repairs, or use money reserved for property taxes as working capital. Lone Star understands that times are tough, we are a smart solution for businesses that prefer to use their cash to operate or grow their business.
Owners of commercial property may be asked to provide the following information:
- Information about the borrowing entity (e.g., articles of incorporation, partnership agreements, etc.)
- Corporate tax returns and/or financial statements
- Inspection report
- Property survey and recent environmental survey
